About

I’m Paul, a photographer based in Berlin.

Before focusing on photography, I trained and practiced as an engineer, becoming a Partner in a global engineering consultancy and leading major projects across Europe and the Middle East. That experience continues to inform how I see the world and the stories I choose to tell.

My work explores the changes shaping cities and natural environments, with a particular interest in the social, political, and environmental challenges resulting from climate change and the consequences of the energy transition.

Working primarily out in the field and utilizing natural light, I use photography to make complex subjects understandable and human. I am drawn to stories that show how large-scale change affects communities, businesses, and individuals, and I enjoy collaborating closely with the people behind them.

Outside work, I spend time with my wife and son, exploring Berlin and the landscapes that continue to inspire my photography.

I am always interested in conversations about potential collaborations, documentary assignments, editorial work, and specialist projects. Please contact me on the links below.
